Your library story of the day - it's magically delicious!

A colleague of mine told me she had this question the other day. I cant quote the question, but it was along these lines:

I'm looking for that book Molokai, which deals with the leprechauns.

I know I havent been back to Hawaii for over 25 years, but is this what is really going on out there?

I added a slideshow of my afternoon in the Bronx and Times Square, and Manhattan. I took about 300 pictures at the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown, mostly of the displays and plaques.

another PSA

There are many ways that we as individuals can make a difference to the appaling crime of Human Trafficking.
To do this we need to know what to look for and how to respond both on a local and global level.

This month Stop the Traffik/ Oasis is giving you opportunities to both attend our trainings and for you to host your own training (speakers provided) at your local school, business, church or community group.
Sex and Chocolate Learning Forum

2 great pleasures, both can have a darker side.

May 27th - 6:30 - 8:00pm
Pasadena Armory Center for the Arts
145 N Raymond Ave
Pasadena, CA 91103

Layered with film, story, and dialogue, you walk away with practical insights into human trafficking, how to identify trafficking victims, where to spot suspicious activities, consumerism and chocolate, who to network with, and how we "mobilize" to see the end of this modern day injustice.

This event is free and open to everyone interested in modern day slavery.
