As part of this month's focus on child abuse prevention I am circulating a petiton on line.
The purpose of the petition is to ask Congress to hold hearings and take action to fix what they can of the broken Child Welfare System.

Worthy, worthy cause! It is hard--and sickening--to imagine abuse of children who are otherwise helpless and dependent on adults to care for them.
